1. European Airport Strikes Disrupt Summer Travel

Labor walkouts by pilots and cabin crew across Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, and Greece are causing widespread delays and cancellations during the peak travel season. With EasyJet staff walking off the job and protests spreading across major airports, thousands of travelers are facing disrupted flights and uncertainty  . If you’re flying to or through Europe this week, be sure to check your airline status and be prepared for rebooking delays.

2. Middle East Airspace Tensions Ease—Flights Resume

Good news for travelers: flights via Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other Middle Eastern hubs have resumed normal schedules following recent disruptions  . The temporary closure of Qatari airspace earlier this week, triggered by regional conflict, stranded many passengers and canceled flights from June 23–25. With flights now back on track, travelers can expect a quick recovery in routing and connections—especially for Europe and U.S.-bound flights.

3. One in Four Americans Anticipate Vacation Pitfalls

A recent survey found that 27% of American travelers expect summer vacation disruptions due to digestive health issues .. Digestive troubles are common on the go—with nearly 40% choosing meals based on bathroom access, and 49% packing gut-health remedies. Even simple choices like where to eat can make a significant difference. The takeaway? If you’re headed somewhere, especially where new foods or hot climates are involved, pack smart and plan ahead.
